Terms of Use

Last updated September 3, 2026

Marketplace role

LateLane is an information platform that helps brokers and motor carriers connect regarding freight with late pickup availability. LateLane is not a motor carrier, freight broker, shipper, employer, insurer, or party to any transportation agreement made between users.

User eligibility and verification

Users must provide accurate company, authority, contact, and identity information. Verification indicators do not guarantee safety, payment, performance, insurance, authority status, or the accuracy of a listing. Users remain responsible for independently checking operating authority, insurance, identity, payment terms, cargo details, and all counterparties.

Listings and pickup hours

Brokers must have permission to post each load and must provide accurate pickup hours, time zone, cutoff, rate, equipment, and contact information. Listings automatically expire at the stated pickup cutoff but may become unavailable earlier. Users must promptly mark covered or cancelled freight.

Prohibited conduct

No double brokering, impersonation, fraudulent documents, unauthorized reposting, deceptive listings, scraping, harassment, malware, or unlawful activity is permitted. LateLane may remove content or restrict accounts when safety, fraud, or compliance concerns arise.

Transactions and risk

Users negotiate and enter agreements directly. LateLane does not guarantee payment, pickup, delivery, cargo condition, rates, or availability. Users are responsible for contracts, rate confirmations, insurance, FMCSA compliance, taxes, and applicable law.

Liability

The service is provided as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LateLane is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from listings, communications, users, or transactions.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the revised terms. Contact the LateLane operator through the contact information published on the service for legal or safety concerns.
